Seeing Old Friends, Tasting New Wine
Visited some of my best buddies at their Church today. it was great to see them again. we were together in the same church when we were all 16. old friends. my heart is warmed in a familiar way. i remember God's blessings on us then in 1979. i still feel the same joy and love today. same, but perhaps richer ... and grateful for His Hands on us all.
The message. Gal 3:13 -14, Eph 5:18 -19, Is 28:11-12, Acts 2 ...
... listening to the Holy Spirit. Comforter, Teacher and Friend. the leaping in our hearts, that strange warm feeling, the quickening and convicetion, the assurance in His Presence. i have known this experience many times. but to hear it preached today, it was joy to my soul. You can say His Spirit and mine rejoiced within me. wonderful assurance. blessed joy. new wine. ¶ 4:18 PM
